For the first forty plus years of my adult life, I woke up and in order to see the clock on the night stand, I would have to reach for my glasses.  In a laser procedure of about twenty eight seconds, you changed my life.  Ten years have passed and I still have 20/20 vision.  I have referred my mother and friends to you and all have had wonderful results.

In September 2004, both my husband and I had laser vision correction performed on both our eyes.  Without hesitation, I can honestly say this surgery was a life-altering experience for both of us.  The laser vision correction surgery (which was painless by the way) improved our vision to 20/15, better than 20/20!  We were able to see a level of detail that we had not experienced in years, and it has saved us thousands of dollars on glasses and contacts since we had it done.  This surgery was truly an investment that has paid for itself.  The post-op experience was just as outstanding.  Our surgeries were done during a very active hurricane season in Miami, and our doctor was available to see us even through the stormy weather (including nights and even weekends).

Thanks to you, I wake up in the morning and I do not need glasses to read the newspaper.  I am able to perform my daily tasks as a CPA including reading documents.  Preparing tax returns, and looking at the computer all day without the need of eyeglasses.  In the evening I enjoy watching television and on the weekends I am able to exercise, swim and play golf without the need of prescription glasses all thanks to you.

Con mucho alegria y gratitud escribo esta nota para dar mi experiencia referente a la cirugia de mis dos ojos con rayos laser.  Yo tenia astigmatismo y miopia muy severa al grado que si me quitaba los lentes casi no veia o era demasiado borroso.  Gracias a Dios, a la ciencia y al el doctor, quien es un profesional y una exelente persona quien ha tenido el cuidado muy delicado, atento y constante para que mi recuperacion vaya bien.  En estos momentos me siento muy, muy bien de mis ojos.  Veo con mucha claridad, me siento muy segura al mane jar.  Antes me daba un poco de temor manejar de noche, pero ahora me siento muy bien.

I’m a runner.  When it rains or sweat gets into contact lenses, it is very uncomfortable.  Now I don’t even have to think about it.  Also, when I go snorkeling, there is no worry that the lenses will float away.  We still travel to Miami even though we don’t live there anymore as we wouldn’t trust our eyes to anyone else.

I have been blessed by my surgery.  I can now see the alarm clock in the morning.  I can now see colors much brighter than ever before.  The colors have been the most amazing thing.  I never saw the sky so blue nor the trees so green.  This is not an exaggeration.  The LASEK surgery has truly changed my life completely.  My eyes are no longer bloodshot red, swollen or irritated.  Your staff was always courteous, patient and professional.  Your practice is one that truly still cares in providing excellent patient care.  In today’s society that is hard to find.  Thank you for all your attentiveness, professional courtesy, patience, and care before, during and after my eye surgery.

I am an architect and I spend a lot of time drawing.  It is imperative that I take care of my vision in order to do a good job.  I also like to sketch and watercolor, and seeing clearly helps me get the right details in my drawings.  Wearing contacts and glasses is not the end of the world.  Sometimes I even miss my cool glasses that made me look very intellectual…then I snap out of it and I am grateful that I was able to give myself the gift of laser vision correction.  The only glasses I wear now are sunglasses!
